The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC, 1989) requires the 196 signatory states to document their compliance with children’s rights. The states report to the UN Committee at least once every five years. The response to Austria’s 2019–2020 report included some recommendations for extended data collection. Therefore, a refined system featuring tables and charts for each CRC article was developed to be implemented starting in 2024. This report presents the trends in key indicators relevant to children’s rights that were available as of the end of 2025.
