This report provides an overview of the state of families in Austria, a Central European country with a mixed welfare regime. It is based on the most recent data from Austria’s National Statistical Institute, Statistics Austria, and recent reports from the Austrian Institute for Family Studies (OIF). It also includes findings from the Austrian Generations and Gender Survey (GGP.AT) and the latest Austrian Family Report (2021) issued by the Federal Chancellery.
