Commissioned by the Vorarlberg Chamber of Labour, this qualitative study examines why parents are unwilling or unable to make use of early years education provision. To this end, parents in Vorarlberg were interviewed in November 2024. All 19 case studies can be linked to analytically derived themes that underpin their choice of childcare arrangement.
